I’ve wanted to write a blog about my personal experience eating the food products that APM Foodworks sells. But I wanted to wait until I got a physical checkup, including a thorough blood test.
It’s been 2 years since my last round of testing, and during those years I made these changes in my diet and exercise routines. Here's what I changed:
The blood tests confirmed my sense that these changes made a difference.
These numbers represent great news for my health. But the most important changes weren't measured by the tests. My stamina jumped while working or exercising. My memory and thinking sharpened. And some belly fat disappeared.
I believe these great results come directly from the nutrients I get each day by eating the products we’ve developed and offer for sale.
For example, seeds and greens are the best way to obtain fiber. We offer our Nut, Seed and Raisin Mix, which includes pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Our gluten-free cornbread contains our 3-seed mix of Chia, Flax and Hemp.
We will soon offer our 3-seed mix as a separate product. You’ll be able to add the mix to your oatmeal, smoothie or yogurt, one or more times per day. You’ll get plenty of fiber, plus omega 3’s and minerals that are so valuable.
And don’t forget to eat a large salad every day containing lettuce, kale, chard, mustard greens, and other ingredients to get plenty of fiber and important nutrients. It will be great for your health – and for your taste buds. We don’t sell these greens, but we do sell an easy-to-use gardening kit to help you grow them at home.
Everyone has different needs, with weak point and strong points. After several years of eating our products, I would strongly recommend that everyone try adding more fat and fiber, plus more exercise, to their daily regimen.
